We’re in a crisis: there are too many homeless animals. 

We can’t adopt our way out of it, hold more meetings, or "access to care" our way to a solution. The only way is more spay/neuter. We must double down on spay/neuter—now—because it’s the only strategy that tackles the root cause of dogs and cats entering shelters.

The Snippys are our way to honor the Spay/Neuter Warriors who show up every day and get it done. With this recognition, we’re saying loud and clear: you are the first responders in this ongoing animal-welfare emergency. We see you. We value you.

We want to celebrate the giants among us who perform extraordinary volumes of surgeries, spotlight smaller clinics doing outstanding work in their communities, and recognize individual professionals who exemplify excellence in high-volume spay/neuter.

We also hope to have a little fun. 🙂
